More for less
Every year, we draw up your balance sheet and take care of your income tax return. But we do more. We also look through the numbers and we look at the story behind the numbers. But we are also looking ahead.
- How is the market developing,
- it is smart to invest, to mediate.
- Is your way of working still up to date?
- What are your tax options to get money back or to pay less tax, for example?
- Whether or not you can/should invest is of course up to you.
Online bookkeeping
Do you want more free time after work? We offer you the opportunity by saving time on your accounting. You no longer have to rush to the accountant after work. Relax. First, have a cup of coffee at home. You walk to the PC or laptop, download an mt-940 from your bank and email it to us. We also need your sales invoices. You always have it in PDF on your PC, so that’s no extra work either.
After processing the bank, we will come back to you with questions. If you have any questions, we would like to see the relevant purchase invoice.
Of course, it is new for some people to switch from offline administration to online accounting. We will take you by the hand and show you how to do it step by step. After that, you’ll never want anything else, guaranteed!
Your advantage, you save time and paper, you don’t have to put anything in a binder and you also think about the environment. We’ll take care of the rest.
Watch our video about online bookkeeping and you will see that it is very easy to scan and email and this service is free too.
Insight after conversation
We will give you insight and discuss at the end of the year
- The balance.
- The profit and loss account.
- Turnover.
- Purchase.
- work third parties.
- Gross margin.
- Depreciation of property, plant and equipment.
- Operational costs. Such as car and sales costs, general costs as well as insurance.
- Operating.
- Financial income and expenses. E.g. bank charges.
- Depreciation.
- Operating profit before depreciation.
Income tax return
After we have compiled your balance sheet, we will proceed with your income tax return. We do not produce the annual accounts because they are not legally required for the self-employed person. And we don’t want to incur unnecessary costs for you. You will receive the balance sheet and the profit and loss account from us, which is sufficient for the income tax return.
The switch to self-employed accounting
This transfer from your old bookkeeper/accountant to us is free of charge. We do advise you to switch at the end of the financial year/start of the new financial year. This allows your old accountant to close the year neatly and we will start on 1 January.
Many self-employed people have already preceded you. The main reasons for switching are cost savings and a fixed price and a fixed contact person. You will also not receive any invoices afterwards, so that you know in advance where you stand.
Where self-employed people used to be glued to an accountant around the corner, they are now looking further into a self-employed accountant, who can specifically fulfill their wishes.
Nowadays, self-employed people shop where they used to be stuck in an office.
Nowadays, bookkeeping has also been simplified in such a way – contact via email, exchange via e-mail, online bookkeeping.
Cooperative tax partner
If your tax partner cooperates in your case, you can choose to award this partner an employment allowance. With a remuneration of € 5,000 or more, you can deduct it from your business profit as an operating expense. If your partner has a job (income) of his or her own, this is not always advantageous, if your partner does not work or falls into a lower tax bracket, this can be very interesting.
If you choose not to pay any employment remuneration as a self-employed person in 2023, you can apply the additional work deduction instead. This additional work deduction amounts to a minimum of 1.25 percent and a maximum of 4 percent of the profit. However, this is subject to the condition that your partner has worked more than 525 hours in the case.
What to do with risk of incapacity for work?
There are many insurances for the self-employed. However, the self-employed person first looks at what he needs to live on. Insurance is often the last item in the budget. For the self-employed person, there is the AOV to receive a benefit in the event of incapacity for work. Not everyone is charmed by this, also because the benefit is not guaranteed to be fixed. This always depends on circumstances and medical history.
The bread fund may be an alternative. The bread fund is not an insurance policy. It consists of a group of 20 to 50 self-employed people, who put money aside in the bread fund account every month. If a self-employed person becomes ill for more than the agreed 30-day deductible period, the other self-employed persons in the group will transfer a monthly amount from their bread fund account to the sick person. Again, you have to read carefully. You can also save money yourself or invest it elsewhere.
